Chess Master Cube - The Most Addictive Chess Puzzle Trainer Ever

The Chess Master Cube is a free chess puzzle training app that comprises of a chess cube moving and rotating in 3D space. It works for mobile browsers, desktop browsers and VR Headset browser :)

The side rotates towards you and the side to play is always nearest to you (confirmed also by the indices/numbering & lettering) on the side of the board.

When you successfully solve a side the board goes green, and if you fail it goes red. The aim of the game is to make the cube go green on all sides for as long as possible. The cube never stops rotating so stop when you are tired. :)

Instructions - If the cube loads with pieces in their starting position then play any random move for the side closest to you to set the cube into puzzle mode, for all six sides. If you are on mobile device use the point and click version (click from square and then to square to make a move) and on desktop/laptop you can use drag and drag version (click and drag pieces to destination square and drop to make a move). Good luck :)

Each time you solve a side of the 3D chess cube a new puzzle is reloaded to that side. It is technically possible to solve up to 3 puzzles at once since as the cube rotates it shows you up to 3 boards at various angles and the focus can be shifted to any of them as the board continues to rotate.

The chess cube has 3 speeds of rotation Hypo, Speed and Hyper. By default the cube is on the Speed setting if you would like a slower rotation then use Hypo, and if you want a faster one, choose Hyper. For those super grandmasters among you, try the Multicube. 8 chess cubes rotating simultaneously at speed.

The puzzle set is in excess of 11 million puzzles and is increasing regularly. That comprises of checkmates, winning material, playing for equality, best defence, strategic decision, endgame, middlegame and openings. The puzzles are categorised in themes and difficulty levels. The chess cube tracks your progress and creates a training plan unique to you based on your performance. As well as increasing the difficulty level as you progress it controls the type of puzzles you see based on your weak areas and strong areas and provides you with more puzzles to train your weak areas but still some from your strong areas to keep them sharp too.

It uses an internal clock to check the speed or your responses and time taken to complete a cycle of puzzles and you success rate to give performance ratings for each area. The overall elo performance is cumulative for design purposes. The rolling average of your Elo in all the skill areas is an approximation to your actual Elo.

I hope you feel able to join this experiment and see if the app can improve your chess. Thanks for your support.
